Welcome to HAMUN. The Houston Area Model United Nations (HAMUN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high school students in the greater Houston area with a quality United Nations simulation to increase their awareness of and participation in global issues and world politics. HAMUN has a 27-year record of being a superior Model UN program involving resources from the academic and business communities of Houston and the surrounding area to continue its service into the 21st century.

The Houston Area Women s Center is a non-profit organization providing a wide range of services to the community, including counseling and a shelter for battered women and their children, a hotline offering counseling and referral services for abused women, a rape crisis hotline, and educational programs.
